Vollständige Rezension lesenthe ALESIS ADAT 8-track digital audio tape recorder. If that is your desire, it's still a useful tool for recording, just not flexible enough for the editing process. The machine has proved very reliable over the last five years or so, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who DOESN'T plan on doing their own editing/mastering. I take my raw tracks to a studio and have someone who has put in the hours to master these programs do the post production work. For those of us who worked in the ADAT f ormat, it's a total no brainer to use, as opposed to having to master Protools or Digital Performer.
No more tapes and recording heads to wear out. The HD-24 has so many advantages that it makes recording fun. I love it! I can find anything I want right away. I was afraid the HD-24 would be difficult to use, but SURPRISE it is not. I was apprehensive about the HD-24 because I had been using the Masterlink hard disc recorder to mix down my other sources, and I didn't like the interface. The AI-2 provides a universal ADAT control interface allowing a bank of ADAT recorders to be controlled from a video editor, a tapeI've been recording music for over 40 years, with open reel tape machines, graduating to cassette portastudios, and finally tape-based ADAT systems in the 90's.
Thanks, Alesis.A new system from Alesis offers ADAT users the best aspects of both tape and hard disk, allowing them to copy material from an ADAT to a computer for editing. I love it love it love it. I'm not fighting with the technology anymore and I can just concentrate on the music. I feel like I have been wandering in the desert for years and someone just gave me water. I know this is old school compared t o Pro Tools, but it integrates everything else in my studio. The first time I hit return to zero and it happened RIGHT NOW, instead of waiting for the tape, I was hooked.
